Whether a walkway or a pathway is made up of various soils, gravels, loose stone, wood, natural stone slabs, pavers or concrete pour, they transport the homeowner and their guests to and from, as well as throughout the entirety of the landscape.

Walkways are a practical way in which to get about the yardscape and offer a most efficient way to get from point A to point B.  They are often linear in design and made from more solid materials such as concrete, paving stone or natural stone slabs. In contrast, pathways take a more meandering route through the gardenscape, providing a contemplative and meditative walking experience.
