Softscape

Softscape features have always been considered the true essence of landscaping.  A landscape is not complete without a well designed and installed gardenscape.

Plants and soil are integral to any outdoor space as they provide a living, breathing, and ever changing dynamic.  From the different colored flowering blooms and the varying fragrance they impart to interesting and important design elements such as elevation, levels, framing and focus, plants are fundamental. Soils in the form of burms, swales, steppes, and garden beds provide structure and contouring for the yardscape and nourishment for the garden.

The softscape, by way of the greening canopies of trees, the lush shapes of shrubbery and the permanence of soil give a perfect counterbalance to hardscape in the overall landscape realms.
