One method of creating a seamless and smooth transition between areas of the yardscape, ground cover hides away the bare earth structure of the yard by covering it in a living mantle of plants, while simultaneously preventing soil erosion and evaporation as well as limiting weed growth.  Choosing the right type of ground cover can create  the impression rippling fields, lush undergrowth or a forest meadow.  Adding vines and climbing plants will add stunning accents to your yard as they decorate fences, trellises and other garden accessories.
